Great service, as usual. Terk a big upgrade over standard inside antenna, works perfectly.
The unit arrived and I hooked it up to the roof and went to add the F to SMB adaptor to the Delph Skyfi unit and guess what, it does not fit. They sent me the wrong adaptor for my unit. I check on Amazona and could find no place to contact them or the vendor. Really frustrated.
Just got the outdoor antenna yesterday and I didn't have enough cable to put it outside so I set it in the window where I previously had the indoor antenna (with hit and miss reception) and WOW even used indoors my reception is crystal clear and never fades. I don't know if I will bother to move it outside. Just a note: this antenna does NOT come with an extension wire of any kind, but it hooks up to regular TV coaxial cable and comes with an adaptor to plug into the xm receiver. Its very easy to install.
I have been using this product for a while now. As soon as I got the wires hooked up it got great reception and hasn't faltered yet. If you are having dropout due to poor reception from your indoor antenna, this is what you want. Runs over standard RG6.
The hardest part was routing the wire from the house exterior through the attic to the room we wanted to put the range extender transmitter. My Delphi SkyFiII home kit antenna would not work through our windows (low e). I verified the signal at each step in the process - not without issue - and got it all installed so I get full signal strength anywhere in the house now. or exterior walls (brick)., so we haven't listened to XM indoors for 4 years. This year, we decided to do something about it and got this antenna, the recommended 50' cord with the included amplifier, and an XM range extender, all on Amazon. The antenna was a snap to install. This was a no-brainer at the current price.
